1st Prize - Eikeli High School and Sports Hall

Eikeli High School 01

KOHT in collaboration with PEAB, Nordic, GK and Norconsult wins first prize in invited competition for a new high school and sports hall at Eikeli in Bærum, Norway.

The project includes 2 100 sqm rehabilitation of the existing school and 4 500 m² consisting of a new sports hall clad in recycled bricks with a school building in wood on top. The project is a FutureBuilt pilot which means high goals for both high quality architecture and climate neutral solutions. The new building will be certified BREEAM Excellent.
